This Girl Fell Flat On Her Face During A Race. And I Still Can"t Believe What Happened Next.
We’re often told that it’s not about how we fall in life, it’s whether we get back up and keep fighting. Because everyone will stumble from time to time, and it’s those who preserve through the trials and tribulations that have the success so many of us crave. But as we all know, it can be truly hard to rise up again after falling so hard; and it may even seem impossible. I guess that’s why life is so hard. It separates those who truly want something, from those that don’t. That’s why this young girl by all accounts should have just given up. After all, when competing against the best athletes in the country, there’s no margin for error, especially the kind she makes. But what happened instead serves as an example to us all.

You’ll Never Believe What This Creature Does To Survive. Is This Even Real?
Despite only being 1 mm in size, these shrimp-like creatures of the deep ostracods can do something that will undoubtedly be a big surprise. Although, I’m just assuming you haven’t spent much time around light-vomiting fish before. (That’s right, light-vomiting fish. Seriously.) This is an actual thing that this little creature can do.
It almost looks like they’re shooting lasers. You’ll have to see it to believe it.
The light warns predators to stay away. If it’s too late for that, it will let them know that they made a big mistake.
Most fish will avoid eating the ostracods and their glowing liquid, as it might attract even bigger, more dangerous fish.

Oopsies. Evidently the California Federation of Teachers realized it wasn’t such a bright idea to demonstrate “economic inequality” by having animated one-percenters urinate on poor people. After significant backlash, the union appears to have quietly cut the repulsive scene from the propaganda video narrated by far Left Hollyweirdo Ed Asner. The original video is now listed as private on YouTube.
The most disgusting portion of the video has been replaced by a still scene, sans urination, on the CFT website. The segment starts at about the 2:50 mark:
But just because the union is backing down doesn’t mean Asner is willing to distance himself from the proud statement he made on behalf of California teachers.

As Twitchy reported earlier today, liberals have been busy today trying to portray Richard Mourdock, Republican nominee for the U.S. Senate in Indiana, as pro-rape. At a debate in Indiana Tuesday evening, he argued that “even when life begins in that horrible situation of rape, that it is something that God intended to happen.”
Obama’s surrogates have been pushing the pro-rape narrative hard today, and the official Barack Obama Twitter feed isn’t letting it go either. Pro-lifers are pushing back, however.

DNC chair, Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.) is back in the news. As usual, that means she’s done something stupid. This time it’s telling a liberal activist that she’s never heard of President Obama’s ‘kill list:’
Her stunning ignorance — and the arrogance with which she dismissed a liberal activist — were too much for liberal lawyer/blogger/Guardian columnist Glenn Greenwald to take.
Greenwald was a constant critic of President Bush’s conduct of the War on Terror. Unlike many on the Left, he’s been just as harsh about President Obama’s use of drones and of the kill list. Wasserman Schultz’s arrogance prompted him to write about “The remarkable, unfathomable ignorance of Debbie Wasserman Schultz:”
“That Obama has a “kill list” has been known since January, 2010, and has been widely reported and discussed in every major American newspaper since April 2010. A major controversy over chronic White House leaks often featured complaints about this article (New York Times, 5 June 2012: “Senators to Open Inquiry Into ‘Kill List’ and Iran Security Leaks”). The Attorney General, Eric Holder, gave a major speech defending it.
But Debbie Wasserman Schultz, the Democratic Congresswoman from Florida and the Chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee, does not know about any of this. She has never heard of any of it. She has managed to remain completely ignorant about the fact that President Obama has asserted and exercised the power to secretly place human beings, including US citizens, on his “kill list” and then order the CIA to extinguish their lives.

Anyone who observes politics closely has a very low bar of expectations. It’s almost inevitable to become cynical – even jaded – about just how inept and inane top Washington officials are. Still, even processing this through those lowly standards, I just find this staggering. Staggering and repellent. This is an elected official in Congress, the body that the Constitution designed to impose checks on the president’s abuses of power, and she does not have the foggiest idea what is happening in the White House, and obviously does not care in the slightest, because the person doing it is part of the party she leads.”
Greenwald’s piece drew a lot of attention on the Left and Right. It seems many of followers don’t think much of Wasserman Schultz’s intellect:
