According to Deadline, Blood & Chrome, which features a younger version of Edward James Olmos’ Adama character during the war against the Cylons, may become a digital series.

Also heartening, the pilot sounds like it will end up as a one-shot movie for the network.

We are actively pursuing it as was originally intended: a groundbreaking digital series that will launch to audiences beyond the scope of a television screen. The 90-minute pilot movie will air on Syfy in its entirety at a future date.”

Mother"s Dying Wish Granted After A Nurse Agrees To Take Care Of Her Son.

When Tricia Somers, a single mother of one, found out she had cancer, she wanted to find a way to help her son. Her devastating diagnosis was a rare, terminal form of vascular cancer in her liver. She wouldn’t be around for long, so she asked a huge favor of a nurse she just met.

45-year-old Somers asked her nurse, Tricia Seamen, if she would take care of her 8-year-old boy, Wesley. When the disease took the mother’s life, she wanted Ms. Seamen to adopt her son.

Seaman was already a mother of three teenage girls and a 10-year-old boy. She talked it over with her husband, and as fate would have it, the couple had alread been thinking about adopting a child. They were approved to become foster parents last fall, just as Somers was diagnosed with the cancer.

Good Samaritan"s Random Act Of Kindness Feeds And Stuns 88 People.

One customer at a Texas Chick-fil-A took “paying it forward” to a whole new level when the Good Samaritan told staff at the fast food restaurant he wanted to leave a thousand dollars with them to pay for as many customers as that would possibly serve. As it turns out, that was enough to feed the next 88 customers.

This act of kindness completely stunned both staff and customers alike who seemed to really take this nice gesture to heart. The good Samaritan himself didn’t want to be named and only said he wanted to make sure people would enjoy their Monday, as he knew the start of the work week could be tough on a lot of people.

The best part of this whole thing is how the people being interviewed took his kindness to heart, and acknowledged that we all need to be kinder to others around us.

Here is just another sad example of the human race at its absolute worst. During Donald Driver’s charity softball game, the Green Bay Packers wide receiver and Dancing with the Stars champion tossed his cleat to a young fan, but some adult woman quickly snatched it away.

After hearing the story of what happened to the boy, Driver asked the world for more information on the kid so he could make things right.

A demonstration in a park in Istanbul, Turkey, escalated quickly as police moved in to clear out the protesters.

Reuters reports that tourists are among the hundred-plus injured:

Turkish police fired tear gas and water cannon on Friday at protesters occupying a park in central Istanbul, wounding scores including tourists in the harshest crackdown so far on days of anti-government unrest.

The protest at Gezi Park started late on Monday after developers tore up trees but has widened into a broader demonstration against Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan’s Islamist-rooted Justice and Development Party (AKP).

Friday’s violence erupted after a dawn police raid on demonstrators who had camped for days in the park in anger at plans to build a shopping mall. Clouds of tear gas rose around the area in Taksim Square, long a venue for political protest.

Hockey Player Makes Dream Come True For A Young Fan With Down Syndrome.

Washington Capitals captain Alex Ovechkin won’t forget his dinner date with this cute little girl, and neither will she.

Ann Schaab is a 10-year-old with Down Syndrome. She loves hockey…and I mean REALLY loves it. After a skating session with the Capitals player organized by the American Special Hockey Association, she skated over to Ovechkin and asked him out on a sushi date. The hockey star said yes.

Of course, no one speaking wanted to admit to being part of the establishment — especially after Eagle Forum founder Phyllis Schlafly lamented the “series of losers” the Republican establishment has put up for election.

What they don’t ever tell you is how many thousands of dollars they dropped on lessons and buckets of balls, right? Have your friends put their money where their mouths are and take them to this impossible course in Idaho. Something tells us they might need a few gimme strokes…

The 14th hole on the Lake Coeur d’Alene golf course in Idaho is the most challenging pin you’ll ever try to hit. Especially since the man-made island green at the end is designed to move, providing a playable length ranging from 110 to 210 yards for men and 65 to 130 for women.

Players tee off from shore, then board a small electric passenger ferry known as ‘Putter’ for the trip to the floating green of the Par 3 hole. Just remember, if you manage to land your ball on the bobbing green, you’ll have to catch a boat out to take your next shot.

After hinting at it a few days ago, James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas released its latest sting video today. Incredibly, they were able to get ballots for George Soros-backed Media Matters’ head David Brock in Washington, D.C., without any ID — but, curiously, weren’t able to get into the organization’s office without ID.

Weird how that works.

A Guy Was Spotted On The Side Of The Road With A Sign And You Won"t Believe Why.

Bob Blackley celebrates his birthday in a very different way than you might expect. Instead of throwing a big party, the retired special education teacher spends birthday at the side of the road “reverse panhandling.”

Blackley started his tradition two years ago. He stands with a sign reading: “I have a job. I have a home. Could you use an extra $5?” and gives out $5 bills to anyone who asks. This year he said he gave out $800, and last year he gave out $750.

“Anything they want, if it puts a smile on their face, it’s theirs,” said Blackley. “One man told me he had some medicine he couldn’t afford to pay for, this will help pay for it. That’s cool.”

Bubba Watson makes miracle shot to win The Masters

Before play at The Masters began today, the talk was of how players like Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Lee Westwood, and Fred Couples could take home the coveted green jacket at Augusta National today. Some, like Woods, would have to play a nigh perfect round and others, like Mickelson and Couples, needed only to play steady, solid golf to take home golf’s biggest prize. In the end, though, all the favorites faded. Phil Mickelson melted down early in the final round. Tiger Woods tied his worst round of golf, ever. Couples and Westwood faded back into the pack. What was left were two golfers whose names you had probably never heard and some of the most exciting golf you will ever see.

Bubba Watson, who began the day three shots off the lead, brought a series of booming drives that shortened the long holes and a bit of swagger. Louis Oosthuizen, who started one stroke up on Watson, brought a historic 250-yard double-eagle on the second hole of the day that put him in the lead and kept the heat on Watson.

Still, both men lagged behind Mickelson, who gave up the lead on the fourth hole with a performance that could have been made by Happy Gilmore on his worst day. After that, it was pretty much Watson and Oosthuizen who battled each other all the way to the 18th hole and beyond.

The final round went to the second playoff hole before Bubba Watson, who required a near-miracle shot, won The Masters and earned his first green jacket. That’s not to say that Oosthuizen didn’t have his own miracle shot either. He hit a 250-yard double eagle on the second hole to go one shot up on Watson and, well, it was on after that.
