How dare anyone call Barack Obama lazy? Why, that’s racist!

WALTERS: What’s the trait you most deplore in yourself and the trait you most deplore in others?

BARACK OBAMA: Laziness.

WALTERS: You’re lazy?

BARACK OBAMA: You know, it’s interesting. There is a deep down, underneath all of the work I do, I think there’s a laziness in me. I mean, it’s probably from growing up in Hawaii. It’s sunny outside, sitting on the beach.

And questioning Obama’s intelligence? That’s racist too! Everyone knows, you’re only allowed to question the intelligence of Republicans.

By the way, the clip above is worth watching, if only to see the disgusted look on Andrea Mitchell’s face at 1:15 after Sununu refuses to back down.
